AlphaPoint, a global provider of digital asset infrastructure, has announced a partnership with the Polymesh Association to improve the process of asset tokenization. The collaboration will introduce a streamlined tokenization solution via an easy-to-use API, designed to serve exchanges, brokerages, payment networks, and banking institutions.

The partnership is supported by a grant from the Polymesh Ecosystem Development Fund, which will be used to integrate Polymesh into AlphaPoint’s Asset Digitization (APAD) and white-label Exchange (APEX) platforms. This integration aims to facilitate the creation, minting, issuance, and trading of digital tokens. AlphaPoint’s client base, which includes over 150 customers in 35 countries, such as the CME Group, Bancolombia Group’s Wenia Exchange, and the El Salvadoran government’s Chivo Wallet, is expected to benefit from this new capability.

Igor Telyatnikov, CEO and Co-Founder of AlphaPoint, noted, “The future of trading will likely involve tokenized assets across various asset classes. Regulated assets, in particular, need specific blockchain features to ensure compliance. Integrating Polymesh into our platform will help us support more tokenized asset marketplaces by simplifying the tokenization process and reducing the need for complex smart contracts.”

Polymesh’s specialized blockchain features, which include token configuration directly at the blockchain layer, are designed to reduce the complexities and costs associated with third-party smart contracts. As an institutional-grade public permissioned blockchain, Polymesh focuses on enhancing security and compliance, lowering counterparty risk, and preventing the participation of restricted or sanctioned entities.

Graeme Moore, Head of Tokenization at Polymesh Association, expressed that AlphaPoint’s network and experience align well with Polymesh’s mission to support the adoption of blockchain technology in regulated markets. The integration is expected to bring additional high-quality assets and users to the Polymesh platform.
