Despite all the promising prospects of asset tokenization, regulatory uncertainty and lack of regulatory overview across jurisdictions still represent significant challenges for the acceleration of our industry.

That is why we at The Tokenizer keep spending time on regulatory topics and why we decided to put together this new ‘Regulation at a Glance – Europe’ report. The new report covers 26 European countries and gives a brief introduction to four of the most prominent recent EU legislations regarding the token economy: Market in Crypto-Assets (“MiCA”) Regulation, The Transfer of Funds Regulation (“TRF”), The DLT Pilot Regime, and The Prospectus Regulation.

It is our modest hope that this report will help provide some overview, in this case of European jurisdictions. We hope to publish a similar report for Asian jurisdictions later this year.
