INX Lists Aktionariat’s Tokenized Shares, Expanding Access to Global Investors

The INX Digital Company, Inc., a regulated marketplace for trading security tokens and tokenized assets, has announced the listing of Aktionariat AG’s tokenized shares, DAKS, on its platform. This marks a significant step in expanding the reach of Aktionariat’s Ethereum-based shares, issued under Switzerland’s Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Act, to a global audience. The listing aims to streamline the process for pre-IPO companies to raise capital while reducing the high costs associated with traditional IPOs.

Founded in 2021, Aktionariat has helped over 70 companies digitize their equity, manage share registries, options pools, and establish investor relationships through blockchain technology. By listing DAKS on INX’s platform, Aktionariat is setting a new benchmark for liquidity in the private equity market, leveraging INX’s regulated platform, which supports 24/7 trading, cryptocurrency on- and off-ramps, and multi-chain functionality.

Revolutionizing Digital Securities Trading

The DAKS token, representing shares in Aktionariat, is regulated under Switzerland’s DLT law. Since its launch, Aktionariat’s platform has facilitated over CHF 50 million in trading volume and serves more than 30,000 users, with a combined market cap of CHF 400 million across its tokenized companies. By partnering with INX, Aktionariat is further expanding its market reach, providing issuers and investors access to a global marketplace for tokenized assets.

Shy Datika, CEO of INX, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “We want all issuers of on-chain securities, not just in the USA, to understand that there is a venue for listing and trading these assets. A venue that offers the much-needed access to liquidity to rebalance portfolios, diversify, and manage risks. INX, licensed and regulated in the USA, is open for business to market participants globally.”

A Pathway for Private Equity Growth

Aktionariat’s mission is to enable companies to leverage blockchain for managing equity and liquidity. Murat Ögat, Co-founder and CEO of Aktionariat AG, said, “While we already enable issuers to create direct primary and secondary markets under their control, listing on a platform like INX significantly increases the reach and liquidity of tokenized shares. This partnership strengthens the usefulness of our offering for other issuers on our platform.”

By listing on INX, Aktionariat aims to provide pre-IPO companies with a more efficient path to access capital markets, allowing them to offer their tokenized equity to a broader pool of investors, thus enhancing liquidity in the private equity space.
