FACTBLOCK, the founder and organizer of Korea Blockchain Week (KBW), has announced the launch of its inaugural “Institutional Stage” at the upcoming KBW2024: IMPACT conference. This new addition is set to cater specifically to institutions and large enterprises exploring the rapidly evolving world of Web3 applications. The Institutional Stage will be featured as part of the flagship IMPACT conference, scheduled to take place on September 3-4, 2024, at the Walkerhill Hotel & Resort in Seoul.

The Institutional Stage is a direct response to the growing interest from institutional investors, financial institutions, and large asset managers in the Web3 ecosystem. Building on the success of last year’s B2B sessions, this dedicated platform will provide a venue for key institutional players to share their insights into market outlooks and strategies, with a particular focus on topics that have dominated the Web3 space this year, including crypto ETFs, asset tokenization, and stablecoins.

The stage will feature over 300 speakers, including some of the most influential figures in the industry. Among the notable speakers are Pranav Kanade, Portfolio Manager at VanEck; Edward Lee, Director of Product Management at Coinbase; Glenn Woo, Head of Sales for Asia Pacific at Blockdaemon; and Kavita Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner at Delta Blockchain Fund. These experts, along with others from across the globe, will engage in deep discussions about the current and future state of the Web3 industry.

Jeon Seon-ik, CEO of FACTBLOCK, highlighted the significance of the Institutional Stage, stating, “This stage provides a meaningful space for in-depth discussions on the Web3 industry by institutions and large enterprises. It solidifies KBW’s role as a leader in the Web3 space and elevates our brand as a premium event that offers invaluable experiences to participants.”

Seojoon Kim, CEO of Hashed, co-host of KBW, also emphasized the importance of the event: “Blockchain technology is changing the paradigm of finance and asset management. With innovations such as ETFs, asset tokenization, and stablecoins, we are on the brink of a new financial era. KBW2024 will be the place where global leaders in the Web3 industry gather to discuss these advancements and envision the future.”

Now in its seventh year, Korea Blockchain Week has become a cornerstone event in the global blockchain calendar. Organized by FACTBLOCK and co-hosted by blockchain venture capital firm Hashed, KBW2024 promises to be a premier gathering of blockchain and Web3 leaders. The event will also feature KBW2024: AI World on September 5 at Lotte Cinema, Lotte World Tower in Seoul, further expanding its scope to cover the intersection of AI and blockchain.
