Recently Aryze won the ESG/SDG award at the TADS Awards, subsequently The Tokenizer had an interview with them expanding on the company and its direction and ambitions for the future.
The Tokenizer: What does the award mean to ARYZE?
Receiving this award is a great honour and helps us validate all the hard work we put into doing things the right way. That means being fully regulated and authorised whenever required to execute when working with blockchain technology. Moreover, winning this award also boosts our efforts of making money fully programmable so that any developer anywhere in the world focused on SDG goals can build any application based on full-reserve multi-currency stablecoins.
The Tokenizer: Tell us more about ARYZE. Where do you fit into this exciting sector, and how has the journey been so far?
ARYZE is building a full-reserve digital bank using cloud banking interlinked with blockchain. Our mission is SDG-driven and focused on accelerating financial inclusion and significantly reducing the cost of transferring money. Firstly, we are making money programmable, interoperable and scalable based on full-reserve multi-currency stablecoins. We call it digital cash because they are the best proxies you can have to central bank-issued digital currencies, and they will launch in December this year. Next year we expect to have our full client ecosystem ready for deployment.
We call it MAMA (Multi-asset modular application) and RYZE net. This system based on cloud-native core banking solutions will, among others, make it possible for us to offer free transfers of money, cross-border worldwide, free of charge for both individuals and businesses alike. So far, the journey has been very exciting as we build our solutions with great care to comply with a highly regulated industry.
The Tokenizer: What can we expect to see from Aryze in 2022?
In 2022 ARYZE will make a bank acquisition in the UK to ensure back-end access to the UK market and a long list of potentially interesting use cases domestically and among smaller countries in The Commonwealth. Our goal is to utilize the acquisition to issue proxy USD and proxy EURO stablecoins and, at the same time, secure our backend longer term by having our credit risk-free bank infrastructure.
We also expect to launch our client ecosystem: MAMA (Multi-asset modular application) and RYZE net. This system based on cloud-native core banking solutions will, among others, make it possible for us to offer free transfers of money, cross-border worldwide, free of charge for both individuals and businesses alike.
The Tokenizer: ARYZE is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. How is the tokenization sector developing in the region?
The possibilities are endless in the tokenization sector, and it is only a matter of time for its effect to take hold in the Scandinavian region and worldwide. By having sustainability and design thinking as part of the Danish Business DNA, we believe that the tokenization sector will broaden in the region, and startups will lead the way on that particular front, thus setting an example to the world.
More and more companies are finding creative ways to tokenize their assets. For example, ARYZE completed Denmark´s first successful ICO in 2019, raising 1.6 Million USD in a hybrid token offering containing utility and security elements.
