Wrapped in an esoteric veil, always on the verge of revelation, Oficinas TK’s works embrace simplicity to help reflect on complexity, making the world’s illusions visible. Is this an exercise on the everlasting theme of still lifes, a hint at Eve’s forbidden fruit, the cornerstone of a new mythology of nature, a staged exploration of light, shape and texture?
All and none. In these carefully composed visions, the observer finds just the essential to understand what they are looking at while enjoying the space to seek out what they are looking for. The direction of their exploration is for them to choose.
