Michael Juul Rugaard, Editor in Chief

Michael has more than fifteen years of experience as a strategic communication adviser, author, and editor of magazines, books, articles and white papers.

In 2016, Michael co-founded Norfico, the first consultancy company in the Nordic region to deliver strategic advisory and communications services focusing on fintech – payments, regtech, blockchain and crypto.

In Norfico Michael has been responsible for strategic communication advice, editorial services and content providing for a number of clients within banking, fintech, blockchain and crypto. Examples of publications from Norfico: https://issuu.com/norfico

Before founding Norfico, Michael was a press spokesperson and press manager for six years at Nets/Teller, the largest payment and fintech company in the Nordics.

Previously to entering the payment and fintech space, Michael was a co-founder of a Danish PR-agency and a strategic Communications Adviser and Account Director in two other Nordic and international agencies. Clients included global brands and public organisations such as IBM, Lenovo, Maersk Line, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Ministry of Education, Ministry of the Environment, The Transportation Council, The Danish Technological Institute.

Michael holds a master’s degree in communication, language and literature from the Department of Scandinavian Studies and Linguistics, University of Copenhagen.


Kristian T. Sørensen, Deputy Editor

Kristian’s work within financial services has made him an acknowledged fintech thought leader and speaker at conferences worldwide.

He has been ranked on Fintech.Finance’s “FintechFamous”; Rise Global’s “100 most influential people in fintech”; Planet Compliance’s ”Top 50 Regtech Influencers”; Instech London’s “Insurtech Power 100” and was shortlisted by PayExpo for the 2016 “Payments Power 10”.

Kristian has more than fifteen years of experience with digital financial services and serves as strategic advisor to leading banks and technology providers on current and emerging technologies, trends and regulation.

He has also been delivering strategic advice and consulting to companies working with blockchain technology and tokenization as well as a member of workgroups and roundtables on the application of blockchain technology.

Before co-founding Norfico, Kristian served four years in various strategic positions with Nordic payment giant Nets. During this period, Kristian also spent significant time advising Nordic banks and merchant about the strategic options for mobile and emerging payments.

Kristian holds a master’s degree in Communication and Psychology.


Tom Penn, Sales Director

Tom heads up our sales operations at The Tokenizer and brings with him over a decade’s experience in international media sales across publishing, online and exhibitions. He has worked with the Norfico team on annual projects over the past years focusing on the wider fintech sector. With many years of leading launch events, websites and publications, Tom sees The Tokenizer as an exciting platform and looks forward to playing his part in the development of tokenization.

Rikke Emilie List, Communication Manager

Rikke holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Communications with English from The University of Southern Denmark combined with a semester abroad at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

She has four years of experience with copywriting, content writing and translating English texts into Danish on a professional as well as voluntary level.

Rikke is now responsible for copywriting and creating content for our clients.


Corina Dolghier, Analyst

Corina is a student enrolled in the Business Administration and Digital Management program at Copenhagen Business School. She is the Head of Events at CBS Blockchain Society, a Mentor for the 2020/2021 study year in DM, and has strong interest in digitalization and financial technologies.

She is responsible for communication, social media, researching and copywriting about FinTech.

Ying-Chen (Claire) Lee, Analyst

Claire studies a Master’s degree in Cognition & Communication at the University of Copenhagen with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Communication studies. She has over three years of experience in digital marketing, PR and Journalism.

She is responsible for social media activities, optimize the content for growing website traffic and enhance company’s brand awareness.


Jonas Kasper Jensen, writer and artist

Jonas is a writer and a visual artist based in Copenhagen. In his work, Jonas is inspired by blockchain technology. He studied at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen with Prof. Carsten Juhl and at Städelschule, Frankfurt with Prof. Willem de Rooij. In conjunction with his own practice, Jonas Kasper Jensen is part of the artist group Lehman Brothers.
